Physical Therapy
Pediatric physical therapy focuses on improving a child’s developmental and functional abilities in the areas of mobility, balance, strength, and coordination. Services can be provided by a licensed physical therapist and/or a licensed physical therapist assistant. Evaluation and interventions can include: balance and postural control, gait training and mobility, gross motor coordination, posture and positioning, range of motion, sensory integration needs, strength and endurance as well as seating and equipment needs.
